Steven Walker was given a 21-month jail sentence suspended over two years, at the Old Bailey for the manslaughter of 71-year-old Dorothy McPhee in 1995.
Walker, of Camberley, Surrey, was working at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Kim Roberts went missing from her home in Stepney, east London, on 1 March 1964.
Her body was discovered three days later in Watts Wood, Purfleet, Essex, on 4 March 1964.
The girl had been sexually assaulted and a post mortem examination showed she had been strangled.
